UW in the Classroom

  1. Write a Brief Treatment (summary) of how the characters will look.  Here is an example of how to do it:  Movie Treatment (Use “Write a Synopsis” Section of the Article)
  2. Set up the opening scene with every last detail:
    • Who are the characters (use The Killers as an example, if you can’t think of anything else)
    • What kind of shot (long, short, medium)
    • Camera Angle (low, high, eye-level)
    • Effects (what colors are in the room, what kind of furniture, what time of day)
